Singapore – A piece of Europe in Asia

20 12 2007

Singapore is a piece of Europe in Asia. A melting pot of not only Asian but global races. More than the diversity, the common ideology of each citizen reflects their commitment towards the nation. It not just narrows down to business but to the wider perspective of economic contribution.

Being one of the least polluted cities of the world, the seamlessness in neatness is harmonized by contiguity of physical accesses, wherein one can move omni-directionally through public walkways across streets and buildings –whether offices or residences. Such multilevel and unrestricted accesses create the true sense of freedom.

And all of these has nurtured co-inhabitance which is the very reason that this tiny island nation has been able to attract businesses and becoming a Asian Business nerve-centre and creating global citizens.

The moment you emerge at the Singapore Airport, it will give you a feeling as if you are in some World Conference, with the sheer diversity of people from across the globe – Backpackers, School Troupes, Businessmen, Family, Honeymooners, or the occasional visitor.

And everything is possible because of several micro-synergies in the economy like free port policy enabling it to become a trading epicentre for South-East Asia. Singapore even without having natural resources and sizeable physical industries is such a developed economy.
