DRIVOBLOG® implicates an avant-garde manner of explorative road trips covering vast distances and broadcasting inimitably the tedious drives that are predominantly – Solo, Overnight, Interstate and Non-Stop (with exception of brief inevitable halts).
Tirthankar Basu – The man behind DRIVOBLOG® , who traverses uncharted – showcasing candid observations and assorted intricacies on people, lifestyle, places, infrastructure and realities, spanning latitudes and longitudes of the Great Indian Sub-continent and the paths that trail there.
He epitomizes that one individual among the emergent creed of Long Distance Highway Travelers that India is witnessing.
Instead of scripting experiences the conventional way through a text-intensive and mind-taxing travelogue, DRIVOBLOG® is endowed with a ‘Storyboard’ projection where a photographic slideshow is swiped with thought-provoking captions adding to the zest, capable of intriguing the befitting audience of the present era of diminishing attention-spans.
There are Motorsport Events, Travel Journals, Publications, Reality Shows associated with the vast topic of Tourism and DRIVOBLOG® carves a niche out of that very Target Audience.

Hi..
I am very much impressed about this type of enthusiasm. Even i am a Motorhead and wish i could be a part of some of your journeys.
Superb Tirthankar, One day we will surely meet on Highways as I am also a crazy person like you, Go on and Roll on and don’t stop at destination because our mission never accomplished….
tirthankar da,one word for you,AWESOME.i am just memorized by your drives/photo stories.your observations are second to none as a highway tourer.i would love to be a fan of you.keep up the good work, and keep the touring spirit all time high.
I saw a sticker of drivoblog on the window of a small eatery, where I go to get sandwiches in Calcutta and on inquiring was told it’s a blog. I am really impressed.
I’ve thought endlessly of a similar blog ever since i started road-’tripping’! But I haven’t covered as much as you have but hope to some day. Just added some more inspiration, part of which was drawn from Kerouac (I believe “On the Road”) is of course a must for any road-”tripper”.
I did do Calcutta-Bangalore-Calcutta, Calcutta-Bombay (before it was (Mumbai) – Goa – Calcutta, all over Uttarakhand, parts of Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, quite a bit of Rajasthan. I’ve never been much with a camera nor with words either, but thank you for your work. Carry on!
Horn OK Tata Please!
